Phra Phrom (Brahma) Shield Amulet, consecrated by Ajarn Wanchai and Luang Pu Si, Large Size, Gold-plated with Naga (serpent) metal, 2519 BE (Buddhist Era). Excellent original condition, with certificate. This large Phra Phrom shield amulet, consecrated by Luang Pu Si of Wat Sakae, is made of Naga metal with a genuine gold plating, dating back to 2519 BE. It is in beautiful condition, with full inscriptions on both front and back, complete and rare. A cherished item, offered for sharing.

Framed in gold and ready to wear.

Created by Lieutenant Commander Anan Tantisirinan, a disciple of Ajarn Heng Phaiwan and a student of Luang Pu Si of Wat Sakae, Ayutthaya, in 2519 BE. This series of amulets was created to commemorate the gratitude towards parents. The creation of this series was authorized by Luang Pu Si in 2519 BE. There are two types of amulets:

1. A raised-front amulet, created to commemorate fathers. This Phra Phrom amulet features an intricately carved image of Phra Phrom attached to a shield-like plate, as shown in the example image. 1. The sawing process requires skilled craftsmanship to ensure the image is sharp and the hands fully holding the eight weapons.

2. The flat-faced amulet is created to commemorate the virtues of mothers, known as the Brahma Mother amulet. This type of amulet is made by stamping on a sheet of melted and rolled metal, cut into an arm-sized piece, and then stamped to create the image of Brahma. The sides are then sawn, the edges trimmed to form an arm shape, and heated to create a concave shape similar to the Brahma Father amulet.

This amulet has a clear purpose: to commemorate the virtues of fathers and mothers. Each amulet is inscribed by อาจารย์ Wanchai Tantisirinan, with clear inscriptions according to the Ratnamala mantra as taught in the lineage of อาจารย์ Heng.

Some amulets have serial numbers, indicating they contain the Ratnamala mantra.

For those who can read Khmer, the inscribed mantras are from the Ratnamala Sutra.

Each amulet has a different meaning depending on the section of the mantra, and the time and date of inscription vary, requiring auspicious timing for each inscription.
