This is a highly sought-after and exceptionally beautiful amulet from the Bung Phraya Surendra temple.
The temple's amulets were unearthed during the Indochina War in 1941. Several different types of amulets were found there, including the Five Buddhas type, the Somdej Prok Pho type, the Somdej Than Saem type, and the fingernail-shaped type. Most exhibit clear, hand-engraved square yantra markings on the back, likely inscribed while the amulets were still wet. The Bung Phraya Surendra amulets are known for their power in attracting love and popularity, protection from danger, and invincibility. The amulets are typically grayish-green in color, with shallow inscriptions and slightly uneven edges. However, this particular amulet is exceptionally well-formed, with a deep and clear impression.
