"History of Creation":
The Phra Somdej Kesh Chaiyo, Dam Construction Edition, 7-Layer Mold (popular), was created in 2495 BE (1952 AD). It contains a significant amount of broken pieces of Phra Somdej Wat Kesh Chaiyo (visible under a magnifying glass). It is considered a high-quality amulet from a major ceremony
. The consecration ceremony took place at Wat Kesh Chaiyo Worawihan, Ang Thong, in April 2495 BE (1952 AD), on the 14th day of the 5th lunar month. In addition to inviting famous monks of the time, the blessings of Somdej Phutthajarn Toh Phromrangsi were invoked through a spiritual connection made from a sacred thread linking the statue of Somdej Phutthajarn Toh Phromrangsi to the Phra Somdej Kesh Chaiyo, Dam Construction Edition.

The materials used include fragments of broken and damaged original Phra Somdej Wat Kes Chaiyo amulets, powder from various revered monks, and old collected powders. These were created in 7-layer, 3-layer, and score-type Phra Somdej amulets. The amulets come in white, yellow, and off-white colors
. The molds are categorized as follows:
Large 7-layer, Short 7-layer, Large 3-layer, Small 3-layer, and Score-type.
The 7-layer Phra Somdej Dam Construction Edition shares characteristics with older Phra Somdej Wat Kes Chaiyo amulets: a glass-like border, a grooved chest, and long, large earlobes. The traditional hand-pressing method results in the back of the amulet showing scraping marks, brushstrokes, and some amulets may have cracks or fissures, while others have smooth backs. The 7-layer Phra Somdej Dam Construction Edition is made of finely ground lime powder. Under magnification, you can see the granules of Somdej Kesh Chaiyo powder mixed in. The texture is soft, aged, and well-defined (unlike counterfeit amulets which tend to be hard and brittle)
. These are becoming increasingly rare, especially this particular model. This amulet contains a large amount of old Somdej Kesh Chaiyo powder and can be used as a substitute for a Somdej Kesh Chaiyo amulet worth hundreds of thousands of baht.
