Phra Sivalee with a bag print by Luang Por Guay, Wat Kositaram, Chai Nat Province.
This amulet was passed down from the descendants of Ajahn Theaw Suphan. He was a close disciple who was in time with Luang Por Guay and was a revered person who provided knowledge in Luang Por Guay’s lineage. This print is very special and rare, as it was newly carved by Luang Por Guay. You will find it in both clay and powder.
#Phra Sivalee of Luang Por Guay, Wat Kositaram, is considered a top-notch amulet that his close disciples seek out, no less than the first edition coin, the first edition cast image, or the Phra Somdej Pim Wak Man. This Sivalee print was personally distributed by Luang Por the most, distributed before 2500, and he liked this print very much. The reason is that clay amulets are easy to make and soil is the source of many things in the human world. From birth to death, all rely on soil. Using soil to create amulets is a representation of paying respect to the Goddess of Earth, which is an important secret of Luang Por.
Luang Por once said that whoever requests his clay amulets It is as if Mother Earth protects her no matter where she is. Because she has invited Mother Earth with the mantra "Po A Wa Ni Ta La".
#In addition, Phra Pim Sivalee is also good for fortune. When Luang Por distributed them, he would give a mantra to worship and ask for fortune. Let's chant it often. You will have fortune and luck. It will be easy to buy and sell. And in the future, you will become rich and a millionaire. And he emphasized this mantra especially. To the point of writing it by hand. If it was not good, he would definitely not have distributed it to his disciples.
As for why the type without a bag is incomparably more expensive than the type with a bag, it is because even though the Phra Sivalee type was created to be distributed like hundreds of amulets, amulets distributed at phaapaa or kathin ceremonies, if you observe carefully, you will find that the type without a bag is only available to Luang Por Guay. It is not the same as other amulets. Therefore, it is considered to have its own unique identity. As for the type with a bag, it is the same as the Phra Sivalee amulet of Luang Por Khom of Wat Phai Rong Wua, one of the top amulets of Suphan Buri. Both of them ordered it to be blessed and distributed to their disciples as well. The sources of this amulet mold are in Amphoe Doem Bang, Amphoe Sam Chuk, Suphan Buri Province and Amphoe Bang Rachan, Sing Buri Province. Therefore, to distinguish the mold with a bag, it must be based on the source. Just looking at the amulet is not enough. Therefore, its value is not high because collectors are not sure who it belongs to.
At present, this mold of Phra Sivalee without a bag is quite rare and is mostly owned by direct disciples. Therefore, it is not often seen in circulation. Those who have it tend to treasure it because once it is sold, there is no way of knowing when it will come back again. The price must start at ten thousand baht.
Asking for blessings for good fortune and business from Phra Sivalee is popular today because of the belief in the history of Phra Sivalee, which states that Phra Sivalee was in his mother's womb for 7 years, 7 months, and 7 days. However, he still made his mother rich in offerings continuously. Furthermore, when he grew up, Phra Sivalee was ordained as a monk in the Sariputta sect. He was rich in offerings continuously with the four requisites no matter where he traveled. There will always be angels and humans bringing consumer goods to offer to him. For this reason, Phra Sivali has been praised by the Lord Buddha as the best in being one who has much fortune. Therefore, people hold to this principle in worshipping Phra Sivali to gain wealth, be abundant in food, never starve, and have fortune and money flowing in. There are many different prayers for worship.
One of them is “The Mantra to Worship Phra Sivali, Luang Por Guay’s Version of Wat Kositaram, Chainat Province,” which he recorded by hand. He emphasized that chanting it every day will make buying and selling easier, and will improve your destiny. The original mantra to worship Phra Sivali is in Luang Por Guay’s handwriting, which he recorded as follows:
“Sivali ja Maha Thero, Paccayalaba puchito ma nusso deva ta indo Brahma Yakkhawa Pitassa Nirantarang Panalaba sakkareananti Nicca Sivali ja Thera Salapho ja Sakkarohoti.” When finished requesting for the desired wealth and respect, chant the worship mantra to Phra Sivali 3 times, 7 times a day. Then the wealth and respect will
come as desired in every respect. Say as follows:
"Sivali ca Maha Thera, the devas are pujito Soraho Paccayatithi, Sivali ca Maha Thera, the Yakkha deva bhipuchito Soraho Paccayatithi, Ahang vandamitangsada Sivali Thera, Etangkunang Sawasdiphalang Bhavantume." Keep worshiping and chanting both mantras
regularly. You will receive wealth and respect. Buying and selling is easy. In the future, they will become rich and become millionaires and their fortunes will improve every day.
As for the general worship of Phra Sivali, in addition to the worship practices, such as giving alms, keeping the precepts, and developing meditation, there is also a secret: “offer honey every Thursday” to Phra Sivali. It is believed that offering honey will cause the donor to continuously receive offerings because in a previous life, Phra Sivali had made merit by offering fresh honey to the Vipassi Buddha together with the monks. And because of the merit of this offering, it resulted in Phra Sivali’s every life being prosperous and full of offerings and never falling into hardship.
