Somdej Rasami Luang Por Um amulet, palm leaf powder, Wat Klong Khom, year 1917, with authenticity certificate from the association.
History of amulets from Wat Klong Khom, Suphan Buri. The abbot of Wat Klong Khom at that time was Luang Por Um. He was a disciple of Luang Pu Suk of Wat Pak Khlong Makham Thao. Luang Por Um often visited Luang Pu Suk regularly.
When Luang Pu Suk was still alive, he was often invited to consecrate amulets at various temples such as Wat Anongkaram.
In this case, Luang Pu Suk came to help make amulets to raise funds to build the ubosot at Wat Klong Khom.
The ingredients used to make the amulets were sacred powder, 108 herbs, flower pollen, Phathamang powder, and Itthije powder, which were created using an ancient formula. Old palm leaves were also used as ingredients.
When the amulets were completed, Luang Por Um and Luang Pu Suk jointly consecrated for 1 quarter (before entering the grand ceremony). The ceremony of consecrating the Buddha images enshrined in the Khlong Khom crypt around 2456-2460 during the time when Luang Por Um was the abbot was a large group consecration, with Luang Pu Suk of Wat Pak Khlong Makham Thao as the chairman of the ceremony.
In addition, there were many other great monks from Suphan Buri, Chainat, and other places who joined the consecration, but the well-known ones were Luang Por Boi of Wat Manao, Luang Por Im of Wat Hua Khao, and even Luang Por Pan of Wat Bang Nom Kho who joined the ceremony.
Just this alone is considered the ultimate ceremony, because the monks who came to consecrate were considered to be powerful and truly skilled.
This set of monks was found in the crypt around 2522-2524.
