First batch consecrated by Wat Kae with the eminent powder (phong) Nur Plai Kanya,  the holy ashes of the virgin girl which was initiated by the prominent LP Ya Khun Chun of Wat Par Jao Sua, Ubon of Ubon Ratchathani often shortened to Ubon (อุบลฯ), is one of the northeastern provinces (changwat) of Thailand, and the country's easternmost.

The young female virgin was Mae Nik of Ubon Ratchatani. She was born and passed away coincidentally on the 7th day of the month which was also Saturdays and cremated on the 7th day which coincided to be a Tuesday. Her ashes went through numerous holy ceremonies and blessings at auspicious timings in accordance with ancient traditions before becoming the famed  Nur Plai Kanya powder.
